I have been working on this Red Kite tattoo idea for a few days now, the first and third images have been done in vector, and the second and fourth are just pencil and photoshop. For this tattoo idea I wanted it to have an element of the classic very stylized eagles you find on old skool salior tattoos - but at the same time put my own little flavour to it by adding the cross's and tear drops as the eyes. I have to say I favour the vector images over the hand made ones as I have tweaked the Red Kite a bit and I feel it has made it look at a lot better.
